Outcomes are written as performances, not topics. By the end of the second session you should be able to do each of the following without notes.

- Outcome 01
Explain the perception gap
Articulate why the prospect's perception of a page is a reconstruction rather than a reception — and why the marketer cannot see the difference unaided.
- Outcome 02
Apply the heuristic
State the Conversion Sequence Heuristic from memory and correctly identify which variable any given page element loads.
- Outcome 03
Classify precisely
Distinguish difficulty friction from implied friction, and friction from anxiety, using operational definitions rather than intuition.
- Outcome 04
Diagnose a live page
Audit a real page for friction and anxiety, and write a corrective for each finding that is specific, proximate and sufficiently intense.
- Outcome 05
Predict and defend
Predict the direction of a treatment before it runs, and defend the prediction with the heuristic rather than with taste.
- Outcome 06
Design for the canvas
Recognize the Canvas Differential — that one treatment can win on one device and lose on another — and account for it in design decisions.
